Motives Creme Concealer
It is accepted knowledge among many people that concealer should be applied on skin before the foundation is applied. I will strongly go against the grain on this one. It makes no sense to apply concealer first, as most of it almost always gets diluted and wiped away once the foundation is smoothly blended onto the skin.
Here’s a better idea: Instead, apply foundation onto clean and moisturized skin first. Once you are finished, use a concealer or cover to conceal only the remaining areas that are blemished, red, or dark, like underneath the eyes. Apply the concealer with a soft, rolling motion and blend the edges of it well into the rest of your skin.
Important: In order to make this work for you, you will need to use a concealer that is closely matched to your skin (not too light!) and that has good coverage, and a smooth, crease-resistant application. We recommend Motives Creme Concealer. It has a smooth, moisturizing formula that will last for all day wear.
Be sure and set your concealer with a light dusting of powder!
