If you love the color of one of your cream eyeshadows or lipsticks, but wish the color was lighter or less intense, try this trick:
Mix creme concealer with your chosen product for a lighter, creamier finish. The more concealer you add, the lighter it will be. You can also try a thin, sparing amount of it onto moisturized, exfoliating lips before applying lipstick. This will also create a softer, lighter look.
You know those pesky little mascara marks you can get when you accidentally touch your skin during mascara application? Here’s how to make them disapear:
Makes sure that you WAIT for the mascara to dry before trying to remove it, as smudging it while it is still wet will only make it worse. Once it is dry, simply take a dry Q-tip to the marks and they should come right off. For most mascaras you should be able to remove virtually all of it. If you are using and especially budge proof mascara and this does not do the trick, use the reverse side of your q-tip dipped in a gentle makeup remover and spot clean it. This is much more clean and precise than using your fingers.
